Ronni Lynn Hart

Ronni Lynn Hart a broker, management executive and an attorney specializing in real estate law and finance, is the founder and past President of Heron Ltd., a New York City commercial and residential management and brokerage firm that she grew to include a staff of 65 employees. In 2004, Ms. Hart merged her company into Halstead Management, a division of Terra Holdings.

Through years of daily involvement working with both commercial and residential property owners in solving building management problems, she has an expertise in all aspects of property management. Over the years, Ronni has held numerous positions with the Real Estate Board of New York (“REBNY”), the prestigious governing body of real estate professionals, including Chairperson of the Residential Management Council, Co-Chair of the Interfirm Forum, Chairperson of the Arbitration Committee, member of the Ethics Committee as well as serving on the Board of Governors of REBNY.

Ronni received the first Residential Management Executive of the Year award from REBNY and the following year she was again honored with a “Shining Star” Award from the Residential Brokerage Division. She was an Adjunct Professor in the New York University (“NYU”) Real Estate Institute and she is a member of the Real Estate Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Association of the City Bar of New York.

Ms. Hart has been responsible for numerous commercial leasing transactions over the years and brings broad experience, knowledge and outstanding negotiating skills to the table for Halstead clients. Representative transactions have included the negotiation and leasing of retail and office locations to national, regional and local tenants including Chase Bank, Bank of New York, CVS, GNC, Right Track Recording Studio, Monroe College, Subway, Mailboxes Etc. and commercial garages, art galleries, supermarkets and medical spaces.

Ronni has been quoted regularly in leading newspaper and trade publications, including The New York Times and Crain’s and has lectured and lead seminars for the Council of New York Cooperatives, the Real Estate Board of New York, Habitat Magazine, The Cooperator and the Association of the City Bar of New York. Ronni is admitted to practice in the federal courts and she was invited to be admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, at which time she had the opportunity to meet Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Justice Clarence Thomas. She has been a member of the Board of Governors of UJA-Federation and a former Chairman of its Women’s Executive Circle.
